Biography

Sir Gabriele Finaldi

Sir Gabriele Finaldi is the Director of the National Gallery. He is also the Accounting Officer, appointed by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
Board of Trustees

The Gallery is governed by the Board of Trustees, who hold our collection in trust on behalf of the nation. Trustees are appointed by the Prime Minister.

The role of the Executive Committee is to support the Director in the executive management of Gallery business.
