About
Create a characterful moving 2D puppet with illustrator and educator William Goldsmith. Discover how to construct the statuesque form of a horse from a series of simple shapes and add colour with a range of drawing materials.
Give your horse its own unique name and gallop into the Gallery to see the life-size horse portraits of the majestic 'Whistlejacket' and 'Scrub'.
This workshop and all family activities this school holiday are inspired by the exhibition Stubbs: Portrait of a Horse. We encourage you to experiment, create and discover together in a fun, hands-on environment.
