About

Explore the exquisite textiles, prints and patterns adorning Zurbarán’s characters with artist and educator Alex Bowie. Collect textures from found objects and surfaces to design your own ‘fabric of saints’. Experiment with printing, painting and wax resist techniques, then add your artwork to a collaborative installation of life-size figures.

This workshop and all family activities this half-term are inspired by the exhibition Zurbarán. We encourage you to experiment, create and discover together in a fun, hands-on environment.
